Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to send flowers to my region?

Delivery is priced by region. Most of Auckland is $14.95, with same-day delivery when you order by 2pm on a weekday. The rest of the North Island is $19.95 and the South Island is $29.95, both next-day when you order by 2pm. Rural addresses pay the same as their area and are delivered Monday to Friday. Sending more than one gift to the same address? You only pay one delivery charge.

I'm not sure what to send. Where should I start?

Start with the reason you're sending. Our most-ordered gifts are the Blooming Birthday Box (from $89) for birthdays, the Serene Sympathy Box (from $89) when someone is grieving, and the Farmers Flower Box (from $89), which suits almost anyone. If you'd rather leave the flowers to us, a florist's choice bouquet lets our team pick the blooms within a colour style.

What can I send if I'm keeping to a smaller budget?

There's plenty under $70. The Simply White Posy (from $49) is our most affordable option, the Lilies Bouquet (from $59) is a popular everyday choice, and The Lilies Gift (from $64) adds a little more for a gift feel. Many bouquets also come in size options, so you can pick a smaller size of a design you love on the product page.

Which flowers suit a romantic gesture?

Red roses are the classic way to say it. Classic Red Roses (from $99) keep things simple and timeless, while The Romance Box (from $79) is a boxed option that makes an easy romantic gift. If you want to go all out, Red Roses & Chocolates (from $139) pairs the flowers with something sweet. You can also add extras from our add-ons to the same delivery.

What should I write on the card?

Keep it short and personal: their name, the reason you're sending, and a line that sounds like you. "Thinking of you today" or "So proud of you" works well, and you can always sign off with an in-joke. Every order includes a free printed card, and you can add your own photo to it or leave it unsigned if you prefer.

How long will the flowers last once they arrive?

With basic care, most of our bouquets last around a week, often longer. Trim the stems on an angle, change the water every couple of days, and keep the flowers in a cool spot out of direct sun and away from fruit. Our flower care guide has a few more tips to share with the recipient.

Every bouquet is hand-arranged to order at our studio in Wairau Valley on Auckland's North Shore, then wet-wrapped so it stays hydrated on the way. We deliver to almost anywhere NZ Post delivers, Monday to Saturday. You choose the delivery date in a pop-up after adding a bouquet to your cart, so you can book weeks ahead for a date you don't want to miss.

The little extras

Every order comes with a free printed message card, and you can print your own photo on it. Before your flowers leave the studio, we email you a photo of the finished bouquet, so you know exactly what's on its way.
